Life in the Spirit Prayer Group
We are a small group of 4 people that have been Blessed toreceive The Baptism of The Holy Spirit and are Guided by The Mission Statement of The Catholic Charismatic Renewal movement UK.
We Invte the Holy Spirit to fan into a Flame the Gifts and Fruits. We received at Our Baptism and Conformation. We all have different Spiritual Gifts of The Holy Spirit such as Prophecy, Praying in Tongues, words ofKnowledge etc. We al have different Gifts.
Our aim is to be Guided by the Holy Spirit in Our Prayers and daily Lives.
We Pray for different weekly intentions and for people that ask us for Prayers
We meet at St Patrick's Church, Sandown. Days & Times can vary

Knights of Saint Columba (Council 411)
The Order of the Knights of St. Columba exists to support the mission of the Roman Catholic Church
and at the same time to work for the spiritual, intellectual and material welfare of its members and their ramilies.
2. The Order is an organised body of Catholic Men, giving its entire loyalty to the Holy See, to the Hierarchy and the Clergy in all things appertaining to the Catholic Faith.
3. By doing so it is pledged to support its members ni their vocation and mission as Catholics and in spreading the Gospel for the conversion of souls and the growth of the Church.
4. Realising it is part of the Universal Church the Order is further pledged to co-operate with other organisations local, national and international ni the furtherance of these objectives.
5. In accordance with the Social Teachings of the Catholic Church, members of the Order wil diligently work for the moral and Social Welfare of their country and ni particular, to help young people develop in the likeness of Christ.
6. Members of the Order will aim to achieve these Objectives through the Fundamental Virtues of Charity, Unity and Fraternity.

Our Lady of Vectis Vincent de Paul Society (SVP)
The SVP is a lay international Christian organisation, which befriends those in need and provides them
with direct practical assistance, regardless of their religious beliefs or ethnicity. Our members visit people on the Isle of Wight whoare suffering from loneliness, anxiety and poverty. We visit people in their homes, residential homes and in hospital. SVP's actions follow Christ's teachings as outlined in St Matthew's Gospel - "Lord when did Idothese things for you?" Our Lord replied: 'When you did ti for the least of my brothers, you did it for me' (cf. Matt. 25:37-40). SVP -Turning Concern into Action

Secular Order of the Discalced Carmelites (OCDS)
Carmelite Seculars under the protection of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, and inspired by Saint Teresa of Jesus and Saint John ofthe Cross, makes the commitment to the Order to seek the face of God for the sake of the Church and the world.
Carmelite Seculars seek a transforming union with God by living a deep contemplative life of prayer; Christian love, sacrifice, and holiness; and service to our families, our Carmelite community, our church, and the larger community.
We are part of Ealing Carmel (OCDS): We have occasional meetings at Verbum Dei (Carisbrooke); we also travel to London to meet with the Ealing Carmel.
