FIRST HOLY COMMUNION PROGRAMME 2026

Registration is now available for the next First Communion programme. Eligible children should be in Primary school year 3 and above, born on or before 31 August 2018. This will be a joint pastoral area course following the same programme but held in various locations across the Island and at different times depending on the number of children who register. If you are aware of any family who would be interested in First Communion next year but either do not attend Catholic school or Mass on a regular basis, please make them aware of this notice.

CONFIRMATION PROGRAMME 2026 The programme is aiming to start from October 2025 till May 2026, and the meetings to be on Thursdays afternoon, in Newport from 1630-1800.

These sessions are especially for Catholic teens from the different parishes on the Isle of Wight.
The Confirmation candidates need to be in year 8 or above.

Parents and teenagers gathering to discuss the programme will be on Friday 26 September at 1900 in the McAuley Centre, St Thomas Canterbury RC Church in Newport.
